1.6 16v in 69 corona.

I have 69 toyota corona wid 2c engine.One of sucs car i have senn wid 16 v engine.but some1 informed me that that engine is 4A-FE � 1.6 L (1587 cc) I4 cylinder 16v DOHC 115 ps.N according to my info its a fwd engine.So how can this engine be fitted in rwd car.Moreover i spotted that car too.It has jm2229 or something like this num.Its in Peshawar.I dont have too much knowledge so i request all members to pls guide me to the best.

Transmission can be bolted with adjuster plate. See if length of engine in question fits in your car. Your mechanic should guide you seeing car and engine.
