2002 Chevy Cavalier Cng 2.2

the car runs fine on gas although i am getting error codes P0202 and P1138. i am told i might need a new mass air sensor inorder to run on CNG and to pass NY state inspection. the car will not run on the default fuel which is CNG although the tank is full. the rpms fluctuates and does not stay steady. please help.

first of all try resetting ur ecu and the easiest way is to take out the -ive terminal of the car and leave it over nite and that will clear the codes and then if u had mass air flow sensor failure u car wudnt start.....
and the reason ur cars rpm is not stable wud be ur timing advancer or i wud suggest do it manually to 12degree advance and then see what happens.....post a pic of ur engine bay then maybe we cud suggest more options...
