Hi,
There's a question which always strucks my mind when i am watching GT racing cars on TV, that is, whey don't these cars have ABS brakes? With regards.

Disc brakes are used with a soft foot pressure, you dont really go slamming the brakepadel and is used with engine downshift gear power to be more effective.

ABS as timed by computer chip, work on and off. It needs diffirent foot pressure.

The faster ABS functions, the more effective braking you get. Drivers, racing cars have done well on both ABS and non ABS setups, and drivers who mis judged and crashed have used both types too.

Its more on driver's expertise and practise how to handle same standard cars driven by other drivers.
