Air blockage

Air blockage

when i bought my 1.6gli there was no air blockage by tapes in the air filter pipe and car was running smoothly both on cng and petrol(very well) but after sometime i was tunning and the mecahnic blocked it by tapes said that it would increase milage but ther is no increase in milage but has reduced milage.And petrol perfomance was pooorer.

so i want to ask is there was already something installed in my car to block air.
But when remove the tapes it wouldnt start before the tapes that foolish mecahnic has put it was good.

it can be set back to run without blockage. i keep doing that all the time with my car.
Just remember if u r getting a decent average on cng, never fiddle with the settings....
