AIR filter

hello could anyone suggest or help me in selecting Air filter for Honda City. I have been using the one sold by city sales but someone told me that using guard is equally good provided its original.
any comments?

well I have purchased guard filter from agency after ensuing that its original one but after 10 kms or so check engine light came on but when I restarted the engine the light went off.
then later on I had to travel for Islamabad so i decided to use the old filter(original one purchased from honda dealership) that has done almost 7000kms there was no poblem except after reaching Islamabad the car's RPM started to show erratic behaviour and at signals I had to push the gas pedal else car need to be started.
On my way back I used the guard filter and did 160kms atleast for 1 hour on CNG did not face any problem but the problem started once I was back in city as on slow speed or on crossings speedbreakers the car need to be restarted.
If anyone got any clue what kinda problem I am facing will he be kind enough to share the solution
