Alloys/wheel drums

I am having this new city. and want to change the rims with 15" alloys. but but, some one told me that the size of rims is callibrated with the steering so you"ll have some problem with the speedometer......secongly, having alloy rims has what pros and cons?

bro ..
have 25" wid low profile tyres..
keep the same diameter
youll not have any prob..
