Amplifier Turn-off thump soultion?

Does any of you ever encountered the problem of turn off thump (a 'pop' sound when the head unit is turned off) from the speakers.

To isolate the problem I have removed the RCAs from the amp and still the problem persists when the HU is turned off. So its probably the amp causing the thump.

Does it require better grounding or any modification to the remote wire?

Any suggestions/solutions would be appreciated.

how many amps are you turning on using the remote wire of the pre. this sometimes happens if you are using more than one heavy duty amps from one pre. to get rid of this problem, try using a relay to turn on the amps.
