Amplifier wiring ... experts only!

Amplifier wiring ... experts only!

Ok ... so now I am planning to add a subwoofer to my car. A Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 2, JBL GT4/GTO or Kicker CompVR series. Something nice ...

Currently this is what I have.

Pioneer KEH-1015 Pre (stock Honda, 2RC front and rear)
Pioneer TS-6975
MGT Power 2 Channel 800watt max (275x2 max, 75x2 RMS, 250x1 bridged RMS, 800x1 bridged MAX)

Now I went to the audio shop I bought the speakers and amplifier from to ask for a lighter amplifier for my speakers so I can use this one for the subwoofer in bridge mode.

Now here is the puzzle ... he says I dont need it ... my subwoofer AND the speakers can work in harmony on a 2 channel. Meaning that it will be working as a 3 channel ... I was told that the speakers will be wired as tehy already are ... subwoofer just added by connecting it to the current amp in bridge mode.

I was puzzled ... so I asked more shops, same thing! Asked some people who have been keeping good car audio systems ... same thing again! They all say its easily possible!

So please my friends explain to me what is this. Can this be done ?? ... Im doubting it ...

i feel the amp would run into distortion zone much quickly if you run lots of speakers on it. when you connect more speakers the ohm drops on the receiving end and will heat up amp more. i would connect seperate amp for bass module and thick wires
