Baleno engine problem

Baleno engine problem

Guys I started facing this weird problem today in the morning
When I started my car the RPM dropped to 0 after 10-15 seconds and the car was switched off. I started the car again and again after that applying acceleretor but no luck. The car started each time but rpm dropped immediately and the engine switched off. The applying of accelerator had no effect i.e. it didnt caused rpm to increase. I also heard a couple of cracking noise from the engine ONCE or TWICE.
After that I started the car without applying the accelerator. The car started and rpm was at 1 but after 10 seconds of starting rpm again drops to 0 and the engine turns off. Can anoyne explain wht is going on and wht is the solution?
The car is a 04 baleno, had done 200,000km and was in need of a engine overhaul

Does CheckEngine light is appearing when rpm drops?
If yes then there is a possibility of some sensor mis-behaving and it could be CAM SHAFT SENSOR through which the timing of the engine is controlled.
But you also mentioned that its happening on cng only.. then your CNG advancer or emulator could be misbehaving..
i will suggest to take your car to nearest suzuki dealer get it checked with TECH-2. Small computer attached to the petrol ECM (Engine Control Module). Letting you know if any sensor is mis-behaving.
I will suggest don't let normal mechanics to play around since car has many sensors and with there less knowledge of EFI cars nobody wants to be indulged in any big problem.
