Baleno head problem

Hi guys my baleno had been acting up for about two months while on petrol i was getting alot of knocking. lesser without AC on but when u turn the AC on it was like havin a joyride at a circus on CNG knocking was a bit less.
Anyways i took it to Oriental Suzuki Sahiwal.They said there was a problem in two of the valves and the head need to be done and estimated cost would be over 20 thousand .I told them to close everything and brought the car back.
what i need to know is if it is actually the head what needs to be done and how much should i pay for it (rough estimate) and what parts should i go for if i get the head done?

that can be cross checked with a compression gauge.doubt they would be having that.only solution is to get it opened up infront of yourself and replace only the damaged parts/valves. in 20k full engine overhaul can be done b.t.w
