Battery/Wire Short Problem

Battery/Wire Short Problem

My car engine is overhauled just two days back. When I tried to start my car yesterday in morning, i found that battery is dead. electrician said that battery is too weak but before engine overhauling it was working fine.

1. is it possible that some wires are getting short thats why battery is discharged. if yes how can i find that?

2. does new overhauled engine requires new battery or it problems with an old battery.

thanks.

there is an easy way to find out if there is a current leak.

You need to have a 12v bulb .

Now disconnect the negative terminal of the battery
put one wire of the bulb to the negative terminal of the battery and the other to the negative clamp you opened.

If the bulb lights up u have a current leake . else its a week battery.
