Yes! The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant. If it fails, overheating happens quickly.

🔴 Signs of a Failing Water Pump:
✔️ Coolant Leaking from the Front of the Engine – Water pump seals wear out over time.
✔️ Whining Noise – Worn-out bearings in the water pump make a high-pitched sound.
✔️ Overheating at High Speeds – Water pump failure causes overheating under heavy load.

📌 Solution: Replace the water pump every 100,000 - 150,000 km o r if it shows failure signs.
