Can a faulty water pump cause the heater in my Alto Lapin to stop working?
Lately, I’ve noticed that the heater in my Alto Lapin isn’t working properly. The cabin is cold even when I set the heater to a high temperature. Could a malfunctioning water pump be the cause, o r are there other issues to consider?

Yes, a faulty water pump can prevent the heater in your Alto Lapin from working correctly. The car’s heating system relies on the flow of coolant through the engine and into the heater core. If the water pump is malfunctioning, it won’t circulate the coolant properly, which can result in the heater not producing warm air.
Symptoms of a Faulty Water Pump Affecting the Heater:
Cold Air from Heater: If the water pump is not circulating coolant, the heater core won’t receive enough hot coolant to produce warm air.
Low Coolant: If the coolant level is low o r you notice coolant leaks, it can also affect the heaters performance.
Solution:
Have the water pump checked to ensure it’s circulating coolant properly. If the pump is faulty, replacing it should restore normal heater functionality. Additionally, check for any blockages o r air in the coolant system that may be affecting the heater.
