Can a weak hybrid battery cause alternator-like failure symptoms?

In traditional cars, a failing alternator leads to battery drainage. In a Prius, if the hybrid battery is weak o r failing, can it cause similar symptoms, such as difficulty starting, dim lights, o r electronic malfunctions?

Yes, a weak hybrid battery can cause symptoms that resemble alternator failure, such as:

Difficulty starting the car: If the hybrid battery isn’t holding charge, the Prius will rely more on the gasoline engine, and starting may become harder.
Dimming lights o r electrical issues: If the hybrid battery cannot supply sufficient power to the inverter, the 12V battery might not get charged properly, leading to electrical malfunctions.

Signs of hybrid battery weakness:

Reduced fuel efficiency.
Frequent check hybrid system warnings.
Poor acceleration o r sluggish performance.
