Can drum brakes be replaced with disks

is it possible to put in disc brakes in rear wheels instead of drum brakes.
wat r the complications and wat would be the estimated cost.

estimated cost racerf may not give,,,for example if yr talking about corolla models mostly seen on roads, 2nd hand rear brakes installed should cost you around Rs.6000/- approx, (this is an approx fig, actual may vary depending on location/mechanic/ car/ other related factors.
best is to consult local mechanics to find out.
