Can faulty ignition oil lead to poor engine performance in my Suzuki Cultus?
I’ve been noticing a decrease in engine performance in my Suzuki Cultus. Could faulty ignition oil be a contributing factor, and how does it affect the ignition system and engine performance?

Ignition oil commonly referred to as engine oil o r motor oil plays a crucial role in lubricating engine components, including those involved in the ignition process. However, ignition oil itself doesnt directly impact the ignition system such as spark plugs o r coils. That said, if the engine oil is old, contaminated, o r low, it can lead to reduced engine performance.
How Faulty Oil Affects Engine Performance:
Poor Lubrication: Low o r contaminated oil may fail to properly lubricate the engines internal parts, causing friction and poor engine performance.
Overheating: If oil is old o r at low levels, it can cause the engine to overheat due to inadequate heat dissipation, leading to poor overall performance.
Increased Wear: Contaminated oil may cause increased wear on engine components, affecting the smooth operation of the engine, and can indirectly affect ignition timing o r fuel delivery.
How to Fix:
Regular Oil Changes: Ensure that the engine oil is replaced at the recommended intervals to maintain engine performance.
Check Oil Levels: Regularly check oil levels and ensure they are within the recommended range for optimal engine performance.
What to Do:
If you suspect oil-related issues, change the oil and filter according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and check for any signs of overheating o r poor engine performance.
