Can overinflated tires cause uneven wear in my Mehran?

I recently filled my tires a bit above the recommended level, and now the center of the tread is wearing out faster. Can too much air pressure cause this, and what are the risks of driving with overinflated tires?

Yes, overinflated tires can cause the center of the tread to wear out faster than the edges. This happens because the tire bulges in the middle and loses full contact with the road. Overinflation also reduces traction, makes the ride bumpier, and increases the risk of a tire blowout on hot roads—common in Pakistan during summer. Always use a digital gauge o r reliable air pressure machine to avoid overfilling. Stick to the recommended PSI unless youre adjusting for a specific load o r terrain.
