Car battery dries out in 2 weeks

It's an 05 vti. Recently I installed a new deck with same speakers. Since then the battery has been drying out every other week. Is is bad installatio(stereo) or the battery is too old or what exactly could it be? The cars about 1.5yrs old.

Sir jee do a simple test . all u need is a 12v bulb with 2 wires , open the negative terminal of the battery put one wire of the bulb to the battery negative terminal and the other to the clamp you opened from the negative terminal . if the light comes on it means your wiring is short.even if the light is very dim.

if the bulb does not show any light at all , then ma be its your battery , because when the battery is week the alternator starts to over charge the battery resulting into dry battery.
