Car heats up quickly on petrol

hi guys
in winters, whenever i tried to start my car in morning,(on cng) after leaving accelerater padel, it turns off. it requires me to put my foot on accelerator for long time in order to heat up the car.
But tomorrow i tried petrol and surprizingly it worked fine. car doesnt turned off when i left accelerator padel.
anybody describe it please
why it happends
whats the best way to start ure car in winters morning
