Catalytic convertor in Pakistan

hey guys i have read many times in posts that catalytic convertor causes some problem in pick of the car esp CNG cars. i have platz 2004 1.0 on cng A/T but thanks ALLAH i havnt faced any problem but still many people suggest to remove that. what is the reason for that can any1 explain fully? plz help me understand
also the catalytic convertor comes in reborn does that car hav problems too?

I have heard that due to inferior fuels being use here the catalytic converter gets poisoned and blocked up, and the engine gets screwed. Don't know whether it affects the acceleration or whether civic has it or not.
