Change filter with ATF?

Hello,

Could anyone please tell me if its necessary to change the filter when replacing the ATF in a Vitz?

I read at a number of places when doing research that many people also change the filter but then its is more like complete replacement rather than the usualy drain and replace procedure for changing ATF.

When I was reading up on ATF changes on the net, they mentioned also about looking at the filter which usually is changed after about 60,000 km as the filter traps debris like metals shavings etc.

So I was wondering if the Vitz also has a filter that may need replacing after a certain mileage.
