Changing meter dial ae-101 experiment

as you know there are various models of ae-101 display cluster. i have two meters one with and other without rpm. the speed reading display is diffirent, one reads max 180km/hr,, other till 200km/hr. so 1 meter is 90 km/hr on top while other 100km/hr on top. today me and rid soul decided to change the dial so when car speed needle is at top going at 100km . meter should read 100. we start our work . remove glass and needle from open meter, and start opening steering. remove display out. open glass top and oops,, the dial design is diffirent. physically one is round and pakistani assemled has grips behind which were not visible from front.,, it wont fit, we put back things together,, and lock car. lol end of experiment!

hello!
like same things happen with me but from different angle....when i get 1.5L for my Sunny...i also get one Cluster with RPM in it...all NISSAN Japan...i am happy to get it and check RPM...wow its working also...open up....believe..opening a Nissan's anything is not a piece of cake..i have to open the whole front panel with all accessories..after that steering rod covers and altlast also have to open two steering rod bolts to lover steering to let Cluster panel comes out and here comes the big BOOM....Grips are changed ..my old one got 9 grip plugs whereas its all 12 grip plugs....so i just open that old one clean it replace with red bumbs and install again ...it takes a whole day to find wires and to wire up with this new meter...but one thing is good...my new one got 180km/hr max whereas my old one got 220km/hr reading..and they are interchangeable......
whole thing happens with my STARLET cluster panel..its pretty easy to open just two bolts and damn its in front...but i mess up with its speedo needle and its drop ....till now it shows difference in speed...its an old type Speedo with no rester for speedo needle as my sunny one got...
