Chevrolet Exclusive 800cc

Can somebody tell that me how can I optimize the petrol consumption of my car. its Chevrolet Exclusive LS 800cc and done 7000km. its giving me 10km - 11.5km in city limits partially with A.C. whereas I expect more as it is a 800cc MPFI engine. Please suggest the solution.

That's not bad; mine gives me 10km/l in city with A/C on. Though it's an 800 cc engine, it produces 50 horses and consumes proportional fuel.
