Chirping Sound from Passenger Side
Chirping Sound from Passenger Side
I keep hearing a squeaking noise that resembles a bird chirping whenever I turn slightly left and drive over bumpy terrain such as cat eyes o r pebbled roads. Despite replacing shock mounts, control arm bushings, and z-links, the issue persists, and Im at a loss for what to do next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Diagnosing car problems can sometimes be a tricky business, especially if you dont have access to proper equipment. In your case, mounting up the car to shake and move the wheel might not be feasible, but there are other ways to eliminate whats not wrong and narrow down the causes. Based on what youve described, I would suggest checking a few things.
Firstly, take a look at the bearings at the shock absorber mount. They could be causing the noise youre hearing. Secondly, check the brake calipers, as they can sometimes get stuck in awkward positions due to dust o r debris on the pins. Lastly, take a look at the sway bar bushing and sway bar ends. These can also cause noise if they are worn o r damaged.
To try and solve the issue, I recommend lifting the car up, either at a service shop o r car wash, and then attempting to move and jerk the car to see if you can hear the noise. You can also try oiling up the sway bar bushing and ends to see if the noise goes away. If it does, then you know that was the issue. I hope this helps, and feel free to get in touch if you have any more questions.
