Civic 2005 Prosmetic. Problem starting the car

Well im having some problems starting my car. Sometimes i turn the keys but the car doesnt give ignition.. Basically nothing happens. I have the whole key turned but its like the car doesnt respond. Then suddenly after 4-5 tries the car switches on.

What is the problem? Is it a battery issue? Sometimes the car switches on fine but sometimes (usually in day time) it does this problem.

From the symptoms, it seems you're trying to start the car in gears other than N or P.
