Civic 8gen tuneup
Civic 8gen tuneup
Guys I get 7.5Kms / L in my 2008 civic prosmatec.
3s I called Honda today and they said that this car does best is 8.5Kms / L, so if you get 7.5 You should be satisfied, but still bring your car tuneup for which we bring you 600.
Now I know it's worth opening up the spark plugs for inspection at 25,000 on the ODO.
& what else should I check. thinking of replacing the air filter, although its not very hidden, but thinking of getting new1.
recommend other areas / points for tuneup.

I think only thing you need to do is to replace oil and air filter as per the book. Tire pressure could be another factor. An air filter will not be clogged visibly but after every 10k km it should be replaced. Use a genuine one.

google for tyre pressure tips... I use 32+34 on my Civic 99 a/t. feels pretty hard on bumps etc but drives easier. has maybe a minor effect on fuel consumption. still does 8-8.5kms with AC. You can try slower accelerations but that requires a major change in driving attitude. Unfortunately nothing you do is going to serve u up with a miracle.
