Civic 95, Help needed

i just bought civic 95, a week ago, n having a prob with it start up in the morning, when i start it ,as soon as i remove my foot from the race, its rpm drops to 0 and the engine stops, this situation remains till i drive like 2,3 km. but for the rest of the day it starts with half self and rpm needle remains at 1000 when idle.

previously, it was like when i start in the morning, rpm will increase to 2000 for some time and when the engine heats up, it get back to 1000 and remain there for the rest of the day when idle.
the engine is of vti 2001.

please help, cuz it gives me a lot of trouble as the engine stops at signals and jumps when i have to press the brake in those 2, 3 kms

Check coolant Temp sensor. Check the connections first. If the problem persists get the sensor checked by an electician.
How about Engine Check Light?
You may also try using Carb and choke cleaner to clean the throttle body.
