Civic sound system

I am fan of listening good quality sound but not knowing what to install in my car to get best output. Presently i own civic 97' installed with original cassette player and original front door speakers. I have installed new kenwood 718 as rear speaker recently . the sound got batter but i think i need an amplifier and a good MP3 pre. what do u suggest if i get get change my orignal cassette player with cd player comes with recent model civic (kenwood one) will i be needed amp or this cd player will solve my problem . Moreover if i dont change my pre will an amp solve my problem ? or i need to change both one ie pre and amp . plz let me know i am confused . Ahsan ur worth comments are also invited plzzzz?

i suggest u to change only the pre n go 4 Mp3 pre (pioneer recommended) n u will c the difference i myself using pioneer 3850 with 718 n i am quite satisfied wid ma sound system
