Civic VTi Prosmatec Heatup Questions

Salam all, hope everyone's doing well.

A month ago, my relatives had to swap their VTi Prosmatec's engine with a Honda D17A engine, as the original one had rust within the engine block. Anyways, the swap was all fine and we ran the car around for a week or so. When we took the car from Hyderabad to Dadu, the car would start heating up on the AC, just between the mid-line and 'H' line. I'd turn the AC off and the dial would come back down again. Do note that we put radiator coolant and on checking the car later on, the coolant was still in the radiator.

My question is, is this kind of behavior normal or should we be concerned? BTW: The fan is automatic and the car was on CNG during this. I would really appreciate any advice and help regarding this.

The same problem is with my MITSUBISHI PAJERO and it also got an engine swap recently. the new engine is 2.8 turbo intercooler. i wonder wats the problem. let the EXPERTS answer =)
