Civic X 16” Rims on Reborn Suggestion?

Civic X 16” Rims on Reborn Suggestion?

Hey, I own a 2007 Honda Civic hybrid that currently has 15 rims with 195/65R15 tires. Im considering installing new 16 rims from a newer Civic model, along with 205/55R16 tires. Do you think this is a good idea o r a bad idea? Just to add, I think the cars shock absorbers have been modified to add some extra height. Not sure if that information is relevant, but just thought Id mention it.

If you use a different size wheel on your vehicle, you may lose some of the comfort and handling that youre used to, and experience negative effects such as tyres rubbing against the frame when turning lock to lock.

You may also see a significant in fuel mileage. This is because the suspension is designed for a specific type of wheel, and the 16 inch rim on an 8th gen Civic, for example, is not the same as the 10th gen Civics in terms of specifications.

The suspension is also tuned specifically for that particular wheel, as I have experienced firsthand.
