CNG & performance

Hi guys i've got a 1995 reconditioned Charade(Anda)CX.
Cant afford petrol if prices rise again to Rs 46 per litre.
Any suggestions on if i should put CNG or switch to Diesel engine.
How much does CNG affect performance and can it be improved?

If you put diesel engine you will have to get it overhalled every 15-16 months cause it is smaller 999cc if it had been 1.2 or 1.3 then it would have worked well. I my self had a charade imported from DXB in 1995 but changed 3 engines during 7 years. and also that diesel price is about Rs 28 its not cheap either. Better get a good petrol engine with cng Landi Kit.
With this oppertunity guys, There are speculations that by hte end of 2005, the petrol price will rise to Rs 60 and diesel to Rs 52. What will be the situation by that. Also the main factor cause Pakistan's foriegn debt has gone upto $36 billion which was $32 last year.
