CNG & Petrol Fuel Level & EFI cars??

Dear Friends,

Have been told that on CNG efi cars like corolla and Civics it is necessary to not let the Petrol fuel level less than half or one quarter when running on CNG.

The guy said that if fuel light comes on and petrol is not filled and the car is running on CNG the fuel pump can malfunction or burn (jal sakta hai)??

According to him the current is always passing onto the fuel pump even when running on CNG and this could lead to problems if the Petrol fuel level is decreased!!

Experts Kindly elaborate if this is a myth or reality?
