CNG cylinder got too hot after refill.

CNG cylinder got too hot after refill.

Hi everyone!
I have Suzuki Khyber which is running on Landi Renzo CNG kit since 2005. I don't know the cylinder's company name but I remember that when I installed CNG, this was the best cylinder available.

Coming back to the topic, I went to CNG station on 11 PM Friday as there is a load shedding of CNG on Saturday in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. I refilled my car's CNG cylinder to maximum. Paid Rs 390 and before sitting in the car, I saw that my car's tyre was punctured. It took me 15 minutes to reach the nearest tyre shop. But when I tried to get jack to lift the car, my hand touched the cylinder. It was extremely hot. Like the engine of a car. I have never checked the cylinder just after the refill so tell me is this a normal thing?

Almost every CNG pump has written that we deal in cold gas etc etc. Same was written on this CNG pump.

not normal. gas is supposed to be cold(which compresses it) that why its called CNG(compressed nature gas). i remember in winters, can see water and mist covered all over the reducer after refill, and water droplets over the cng cylinder as the gas is very cold in winters

only reason coming into my mind is, the cooling machinery of the gas station u went to sucks most probably
