CNG for Prosmetic?

CNG for Prosmetic?

Hey guys. I have a CIVIC VTI Prosmetic 2004 and i was wondering if i can convert it to CNG? If i do will it ruin the car? I've heard the pickup on CNG is very bad on automatic cars and stuff?

Plus, I dont think im getting proper mileage on petrol.. I think i get around 13 litres in 1000rs and i think that lasts for like 100-110 kilometers. Is that ok? These days i run out of petrol every 2nd or 3rd day and i always get 1000rs petrol. What is the proper mileage i should be getting on 1000rs petrol (13litres) ?

Anything around 10km/liter is OK. You can try driving with a light foot, and it might just climb to 11.

So on average, 13 liters = 1000 rupees = 130km.

VTi Auto does around 90km in one full CNG cylinder. 130 km means around 1.5 CNG cylinder, which would cost around 450+225 = 675. The difference is 325 rupees per 130 kilometers.

If you travel as much as 2500 km per month, the difference would be around 6000 rupees per month.
