CNG Milage

CNG Milage

My 1.6 gli gives 150+km on full tank cng in long drive for example peshawar to islamabad. But in city driving it gives me only 100-110km why it is so.is it a common problem and what are the factors.

just try 2 calculate how many times u have 2 shift the gears, accelerate/deccelerate in a 10km drive inside the city & on long run and the reason shall automatically come 2 ur mind. Plus the station u r getting CNG from, also makes the difference. BTW my margalla does 150+ (without A/C; 55L cylinder) in city whereas on GT road (speed 100-105km/hr)does well over 200km. I once achieved 248KM from one full cylinder (the CNG was filled from GUJAR KHAN). Bottom Line: Its got to happen.
