Common CNG problem
Common CNG problem
Everyone knows that this is a common CNG problem. What happens is sometime the engine stops in the middle of the drive when you press clutch.
It normally happens when you move from a higher (4th) gear to lower (3rd) gear and when you press the clutch then the engine stops.
I am having this problem in my Honda City NEO with CNG. When I will take it to the mechanic I know what he will do. He will simply open the bonnet and use the screw driver to increase the RPM.
Now the RPM will remain at about 1000 even when the car is at halt.
What I want to know if this is the correct way of dealing with this problem? or shall I use TAP (don't know if it is used for this purpose).

Hello!
As u said that engine stops...so 1st of all tell me that wht do u mean by engine stop...is it stalls means shut down and u need to start it or wht.....the mostly stalling problem comes in starting car starts and when u release accelerator it stop...its due to improper air/fuel mixture ratio or problem or it give jerk on low RPMs when plugs are not getting curent properly.....i face these both problems...as u say that when u shift from 4th to 3rd...so the question is that how u reach to 4th gear if there is improper settings....if mixture is not setted so engine stalls when u release gas pedal...
i think thats not a problem with CNG...does it happens on petrol and 2nd thing that is engine stalls means totally closed or it drops RPMs.....
tell that things
Thanxxx
