Could a clogged fuel filter cause engine sputtering in my Suzuki Cultus?

I’m experiencing engine sputtering, especially at higher speeds, in my Suzuki Cultus. Could a clogged fuel filter be the cause, and how can I determine if that’s the issue?

Yes, a clogged fuel filter can cause engine sputtering by restricting the flow of fuel to the engine, especially under load o r during acceleration.

How a Clogged Fuel Filter Causes Sputtering:

Fuel Restriction: A clogged fuel filter reduces the amount of fuel that flows to the engine, leading to poor engine performance, misfires, o r sputtering.
Pressure : The fuel system needs a certain pressure to function optimally. A clogged filter causes a in fuel pressure, leading to irregular fuel delivery and engine sputtering.
Poor Combustion: Inadequate fuel delivery can lead to an incorrect air-fuel mixture, which results in sputtering, stalling, o r poor acceleration.
How to Fix:

Replace the Fuel Filter: If the fuel filter is clogged, it should be replaced with a new one. This is a relatively inexpensive fix and can resolve many sputtering issues.
Inspect Fuel System: After replacing the filter, its also a good idea to inspect the fuel pump and injectors to ensure they are not clogged o r malfunctioning.
What to Do:
Replace the fuel filter and check the fuel system for other issues if the problem continues.
