Cultus 2007 CNG Engine Ring/Piston Out of Order
Cultus 2007 CNG Engine Ring/Piston Out of Order
I have a Suzuki Cultus VXR (Non EFI) which I had purchased zero meter in April 2007 and it has done only 12600KMs. 2 days back a krr krr sound started coming from the engine and I got it check in the company along with 2 other mechanics and all of them told me that the engine has some fault and for this they need to open up the engine.
Yesterday I handed over the car to the mechanic and he opened up the engine in front of me and he showed me the piston with a lot of scratches along with the gap between the wall and the piston was also a lot as compared to normal gap. The gap for the tappets was also minimal and quite jam.
How come this issue came in a car which is properly maintained, driven by single driver only and driven 25KMs only a day.
Experts need your comments and suggestion regarding this issue.

means u got jack pot in ur engine lolz
3 resons ........ hu saktay hai bro
1 late engine oil change
2 car timming was out of order
3 ur luck .... ( coz u mentioned u mainted it well )
2nd oil change at 9800 that was late but still engine should not fail by just 1 or 2 late oil changes engines are strong and even if you continue this habbit of late oil change the cultus engine should have atleast crossed 60000 km before any prob.
I guess you are one of the unlucky owners who got a cultus with defected engine.
Who is ur mechanic? Make sure he does a good job this time you dont want to open this engine one more time.
