Cultus starting problem

Hi, I have carbi cult 2007. Today I opened the dusty bonut was I washed it with water. Is it safe to wash the engine with water?
Secondly, I will drive the car to Makro and on my way back.I stopped at fruit shop and then tried to start the car, but it is not started. When I try to contact there was no noise, complete silence as the battery does not respond at all.
I opened battery, clean and tighten them, but still no success. Then I have my car towed back home with help from friend becz late Sat night, not a mechanic, find one on Sunday.
Any suggestion? Is it has something to do with the engine, I washed in the morning? Please comment or suggest how to solve.

Also true cult fuse? Can problem with them

I think kay its and electrical fault. Are other electrical components working ok?. It may be the fuse. I think its located along side the radiator water bottle and battery. that black plastic box. Cant comment on why it happened. Please wait for experts.
