salaamz all ,,, i wanted to know if cylinder formations had any impact on the output of the car i mean do V-6's hav ne advntages over inline 6's ,,, or r they just like tht to occupy less space and have more capacity???

Output is dependant upon displacement, and not position although cylinder layout (some instances)does make for smoother engine operation.
Most FF vehicles have a East-Weat arrangment so ar usually limitd to a 4inline or "I" setup except for some v6 applications.
V are generally coplex and more prone to NVH than other counterparts such as the Boxer (Flat.Horizontally opposed) or Straight.
