Distortion or noise in speakers

helo guys can any one answer 2 ma ques
my speaker kenwood kfc-hq 698 when i play a song with a gud bassline they create noise only one of my speaker the noise is not so high but it can b heard but when i open the gril n put ma finger on the diaphragm it stops creating noise plz help me is this problem due to the lack of an amp

you answer the question your self.

Your CD player only supports the sound quality upto the certain level after that its normally noise and distortion.

To over come this you must use a good amp

on othe other hand if you main purpose of listening loud is to have alot of bass its better to get an amp + sub woofer so you can get that deep bass effect even when your music is on the lowest level.
