Distributor Advance Position

Distributor Advance Position

Hey Guyz,,,

Hope U all would be in good health and spirit...

Okay here's the problem

I have a Cultus 06
I recently had my Head Gasket Replaced (Long story Dont ask why)

Before the replacement, every thing was fine,

But after it, there is lets just say (Some Thing Missing). The strokes are not that much smooth, lets just say the exhaust sound is a bit coughy.....
Same as when you observe in a cold start.......

Engine Oil, Tuning, CNG flow, Plugs, Air cleaner ALL IN WELL CONDITION
Even the new gasket is good state, (NO oil/coolant/power loss at high rpm/ high heating observed, Nothing)

(Trust me i normally know where every thing is fine)

But there is just one confusion, I think the distributor is not advanced to the desired position. Or may be its a bit more advanced......Its not producing a knok on Petrol and as all of u know, CNG doesnt produce knocking whatever u do)

So You guys can do me one little favour, If any one of you owns a Cultus 06 (the carbi one) or older with genuine fitted CNG, can you just take the snap shot of the distributor close to its adjusment bolts......I'ld have an idea whether its the problem or not,,,,,,,,,,,

Or does anybody know how to get an idea of good timing position without a TIMING gun........I am not saving money,,....its just I literally dont have tym to go to any workshop these days......

symptom as u described, seems to me that valve timing is slightly out,so get it aligned precisily by any expert mechanic ur problem will be solved. It is not the issue of ignition timing.
