Some older Hilux models come with fewer airbags than modern vehicles. Do you think the airbag system in your Hilux is sufficient? Have you ever had to rely on them?

Older Hilux models often come with only dual front airbags, while modern versions include side, curtain, and knee airbags for enhanced safety. Whether the airbag system is sufficient depends on the driving conditions and safety expectations. For highway and off-road driving, more airbags provide better protection in case of a rollover o r collision.

Fortunately, I haven’t had to rely on airbags, but in accidents, they play a crucial role in reducing injury severity.
