Does carburator affect cng onsumption?

Dear friends,

I want to know that does carburator affect CNG consumption as we know that it affects patrol consumption.

With CNG setup Carburator just act as throtle valve/body so its mixture setting shudnt effect CNG consumption directly.
I have just shared my thoughts & understanding so lets see wat the experts say
