Does frequent short-distance driving in Pakistani traffic contribute to starter motor failures?

In cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, heavy traffic means frequent engine start-stop cycles. Does this excessive use increase wear and tear on the starter motor, leading to premature failure?

In busy cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, frequent short-distance driving with lots of start-stop cycles contributes to starter motor wear. The starter motor is used more often, leading to quicker deterioration. This is exacerbated by the fact that short drives don’t give the engine enough time to warm up fully, stressing the starter motor and increasing the likelihood of early failure.
