Enerlevel---- a litte basic settings for all.
ok i have alot of ppl tyring to ask me for settings. so i will post a little technique of how to do some settings on ur own.
NOTE:-
my basic understanding for a system is that the sound should come as it is. it should not be animated at all.
GETTING STARTED:-
HU:- turn all the settings to 0db. turn off all EQ mods. turn off all enchancments (eg. HPF, loud , bbe etc). now turn ur volume all the way to 75%. 3/4 of ur max volume on deck. i dont go full 4/4 because that will also invite clipping signals which is not needed.
AMP:- start off with HPF on at 65hz. turn ur gain up untill u hear distrotion (speaker phattnay ki awaz). r u satisfied with the volume? if not , then turn ur HPF to 80hz. now u can adjust the gain abit more for loudness. Dont go higher then 80hz. because then there wont be alot of difference between a male and a female noise....... which is not good.
after u have set the amp , now come to the HU.
1) turn hpf on to what ever has been on the amp. eg. u choose 65hz, then u also choose 65hz on ur deck. now set the eq according to ur taste. (different ears , different taste.)
some decks help u choose 2N to 2W this is the cut off or roll off. N(narrow) will let only a specfic frequency to go through while W(wide) will be a bit more broder. i generally go
highs 2W 12.5k (gives me the thin treble)
Mids 1N 500K (gives me a big difference between female and a male vocal sound)
Lows 1N 40-60Hz ( Narrow Only if u have some good power and 2W if u have less power)
loud should be off but in situations where ur amp is not very powerfull , then u need to turn it on at low .
WOOFER.
now u turn on ur woofer amp. set the LPF according to the speakers. *65 or 80 which ever u chose for the speakers.
now u turn the gain up untill u hear distrotion (turn lpf from HU to zero and frequency to watever ur speakers was at.
subsonic should be about 40-50 if u want ur woofers to last longer (this wil cut off all bass below 40-50 which some subs cant produce.)
Congrats , ur system is set. enjoy.
EXTRA NOTES:
1)for decks which have roll off points , u should set the system to 12db roll off.
2)for system which have compression , it should be set to 2comp
3)try never to max up the gain for the amp , because that will also cause clipped signals (distrotion)
sticky plz for some time ..........
