Engine decreasing oil

I have suzuki Margalla,few months ago i have replaced the engine,now i am facing a prb,my car is decreasing engine oil,after 2500 km it decreaes engine oil about a quarter of a liter,after 3k the it decreses a bit faster,engine is not giving any smoke,i am using havoline formula oil,what should be the reason?

Good advice.
Just wanted to add, also check your radiator coolant for the last unlikely option too. Also when you are looking for smoke, it is the blueish/whitish smoke you want to look for.

"Usually" there are only three ways oil can reduce.
1. Leaking (I assume you would have noticed this already on the floor, wherever you park the car). You will need to fix the leak.
2. Burning in the combustion chamber / cylinders (in this case you will see the blueish/whitish smoke from the exhaust). You will probably only need new rings.
3. or may be oil going in the coolant/water due to worn head gasket (this is not very likely but in this case you should see chocolatey kind of sludge in your radiator coolant/water). For this you will need a new head gasket.
