Engine oil quantity for oil change..?

can any one tell me that how much engine oil i should put in my engine of nissan march 2002 japenese 1300 cc as some oil changers were saying 3.5 and some said 3...so i am confused and also tell me that is it necessary to change oil filter ..dusring oil change

Refere to your cars user manual, if not available then first fill three litres and check after 15 minutes if lelve is between low and high. If you find low oil level then pour half a litre more and again check with dipstick
