Engine Overhaul

Dear experts !
I want to know about engine overhaul. Please give details about what (parts/whole) mechanic change or upgrade while overhauling? what is the whole process? what is the cost of overhauling? My car is corolla 86/1300cc-2E engine, registered 1997.

By overhaul we mean the following:

1. Reparing internals:

a. Main and Big Ends replacement
b. Crank adjustment (grinding) or replacing in case of 'Standard' internals
c. Connecting rod, sleeves (cylinder), pistons and pins, piston rings
d. Oil pump facing
e. Chamber Packing and oil seals

2. Repairing header
a. Head Facing
b. Valves and valve guides
c. Head gasket
