Experts Plz free flow exhaust

PLz experts i need ur help
As i hav bought a new mufler for my car(Honda City 02) its oval in shape should i install it on stock piping or shold i go for free flow piping i just need to kno that if free flow is been done will it decrease the life of engine or is it a load for engine
2ndly i would like to kno that is it ok to install muffler wthout going for free flow as i hav heard that if muffler is installed without piping its not good for engine is that so
Plz experts help i m really confused alot

it basically depends on how much sound u need frm the muffler, if u need the maximum sound u may go for full pipping but as if ur car is also in family use i may advise u to go for the stock pippings with all the dholkies, cuz it looks very very cheap to me driving around with family with such loud sound, and as far as the life of the engine is concerned when u get the muffler u start giving race while being idle meaning that u give use less load on the engine while standing so that decreases the average as well as the life but that only happens with full pipping... the detail i gave i hope help u out cheers dude!!! P.S. Others may disagree so no offence...just tryn to help the guy
